Penguins, Pot & Other Stuff

Went out partying with some friends the other night.  I ended up having one too many Scotch.  Boy, the next day was not a good one.

While the Ontario March of Dimes continues to drag it’s feet on my stealing incident, tomorrow is my big day at court.  Hopefully the judge will agree with me and establish a trial date.  I’ll let you know as soon as it happens.

Well, the gang of retrofitters has sold the house.  They even got what they were asking for (almost).  The closing date is June 15th.  Nice to see that capitalism lives on.

The Tiger Cats and the rest of the CFL are close to starting the 2006 season.  Hamilton’s first game of the year is in Toronto.  I’ll probably be going to watch.  Interested in coming along?

I finally received my new "marijuana card" from the government.  Now, everyone is happy!

To keep with the mood of the concert, I smoked a big fat one just before it started so I could be "Comfortably Numb".

Went to that Pink Floyd cover band concert last night.  Excellent!  Good venue & great musicians.  I went with brother Joseph & Katherine.  It turns out we all met people we knew at the show.  Brother Joe & Katherine are teachers at the same school and one of their students (Alanna) was the lead female singer in the band!  Me?  The woman who owns the place where the concert was held is the sister of one of my high school girlfriends.  Small world!
