Penguins, Pot & Other Stuff

This Friday, July 21, I’m off to Vancouver for a week.  I’ve never been there and I hear it is a lovely place.  Going with my girlfriend Michelle who has been there before.  I’ll tell you all about it when I return on July 28.

Italy wins!  The car horns were going until the early hours of the morning.  Next time, Malta!

Finally, a win!  Now Calgary knows how

If things go well, mid August will see me jetting off to the Canary Islands for 2 weeks.  Met a fantastic woman a couple of weeks ago who wants to pamper me to the ultimate.  Who am I to argue?

I can’t believe it.  I was doing so well in one of my Internet pools; actually in first place.  First-place winner gets a plasma television.  Then I found out Canadian residents are ineligible for prizes!  What a bummer.  Then, to top it off, Brazil loses to France.  I should be in Rio de Janeiro providing comfort to all those bikini-clad women on the beach.  Dream on!

What a heartbreaker!  Losing on the last play of the game.  I don’t know what the defensive coordinator was thinking, but he basically gave Calgary the game.  I didn’t expect Hamilton to go 0-3.  That really hurts!  They better pull up their socks.
