The boys were in it almost up to the end.  Almost!  An inability to score touchdowns and continued excessive penalty yardage did them in.  We play Winnipeg again this Friday.

The annual get-together took place last Saturday.  went up with Trish & Paulo for some good food & good music.  I had a steak and Trish prepared it to perfection; rare!  She also made a salad which had the usual greens along with strawberries & almonds.  Delicious!

 

Even though the crowd was a bit smaller, had a good time.  The fire at the end was very nice.  Check out the pictures-interesting!

My friend Linnie showed up yesterday just before lunch.  We decided to head out to get something to eat but we had no idea where.  Almost at the same time we suggested to each other that Hooters might be a good idea.

 

While the cuisine choice is somewhat limited, atmosphere can do so much to make up for it.  Chicken wings & iced tea with some buffalo shrimp.  The occasional natcho was thrown in for variety.  Talk about fine dining!

Yes, that bitch Jennifer has been fired by the Ontario March of Dimes!  Finally!  Apparently, over the past month she has become friends with several people who live in my building.  What do you know?  All of them have reported things stolen during the past month.  Last night was the kicker.  Jennifer either did this herself or had someone do it.

 

One of the tenants she became friendly with was robbed.  The only things stolen was his money box.  Only he & Jennifer knew where it was because Jennifer had offered to do some of his banking for him (he is disabled).  I guess the March of Dimes finally put 2+2 together and came up with Jennifer.

 

I’ll let everyone know when & where the party is taking place!

Some new ones for your perusal.

Hopped on the bus and paid Mom a visit yesterday.  Unlike my last visit, she was already up and walking around when I got there.  Still slow, but we made our way around the nursing home several times.  Someone was playing the piano downstairs so of course Mom stopped for a little dance.  Nice to see she was having a good day!
