Rollerblading at Bayfront Park
Dickhead called out of the blue wondering if I was interested in meeting him at Bayfront Park to enjoy the lovely weather and do some blading. As it happened, Trish was here and said she was cool with the idea. We met Dickhead and setoff on a leisurely pace down the path. There was a brisk wind blowing in off the harbor but nothing we couldn’t handle. As much as I was waiting for it to happen, neither of them went for a tumble.
Dickhead looked so cute in his ancient Finnish hockey helmet. Reminded me of Jari Kurri. Both he & Trish are pretty good on the blades. There were no races but I foresee that happening if these little get-togethers continue.

Lets do it again soon. It was great to have company, for some reason people usually say no when I ask them to meet me somewhere. Especially enjoyed skating with Trish. We did in fact race, Trish challenged - I accepted, and with the smell of testosterone in the air, off we zoomed. After about 10 seconds clearer heads prevailed. We called it a draw and went back to a more comfortable speed. The pictures are great and when I saw the one with Trish I realized that it wasn’t Justin T. that brought sexy back, it was Trish all along.

Yes, a very enjoyable time. I’m sure we’ll be doing it again. I think I saw the “race” you mentioned. Didn’t it occur as I passed the two of you while I was wheeling backwards? And yes, Trish knows how to drive them crazy-whatever team they play for!

charles, you are so hilarious !! it was so fun blading with you. unfortunately for me i don’t have as much non-smoking time under my belt so i could not race for as long as i wanted to. and i will definetly wear the proper socks as i have a few sore spots on the back of my leg which i just showed to tony. next time i want to do the 8 km . i think i will also buy a helmet and wrist guards for the next time since you are so competitive and almost roller derbied me into the water !!!!!!!!!!!

Trish, finally someone with the intellect to appreciate my humour. One point though, I seem to remember that it was you who was contemplating hip checking me. You mentioned Tony had offered a $20 bounty if you knocked me to the ground, $30 if you drew blood. Also a second point, while you are whining about short socks and not having quit smoking for as long as me, you failed to say that you’re about 30 years younger!

my dear charles - being the decent christian that i am i cannot bring myself to the level of your vicious verbal attack- the good lord though has instructed me to point out the fact that you are an atroscious speller ( please see “woulld” when you were impersonating your lovely wife) also your math is equally as hideous as i am only 16 years younger than your grey ass. xo - trish

You know Trish its so easy being nasty and insulting to Tony, but you are so nice its somewhat infuriating. My math skills are actually quite good I just wanted to make you feel younger. As for my spelling, when I am impersonating someone else if I sound too articulate and spell everything perfectly then you would know its me.
And by the way Paolo you have one very cute kid!

I can see it now. A Steven Spielberg/Richard Dreyfuss Jewish look-alike versus an Elizabeth Taylor eyed lesbian beauty. I know who I’m betting on! And yes Paulo, you do have a cute kid.
