Brother Mike and his lovely wife Cindy invited the Aquilina gang over for dinner & cake to celebrate my birthday. It was nice to see all of us together at one table. A delicious meal of sausages, salads and delicious breads made it a wonderful feast. Then, a scrumptious ice cream cake for the celebration!
The lovely Trish came along as she is almost part of the family. She took some fantastic pictures-check them out!

Glad you had such a nice family dinner Tony. Now I’m not accusing you of anything but I have to ask, were you in my backyard this weekend? Were the two days that I’m two years younger than you more than you could handle? My reason for asking is that my family, 12 of them all came to visit from Toronto for my birthday barbecue. Thats where I buy all the food and stand outside cooking for an hour so we can celebrate my advancing age. After an hour or so of laughter and small talk I headed to the backyard to fire up the barbecue only to discover the propane tank had been stolen. Someone cut right through the tube so I couldn’t even just run out and get a new tank. So off we all went to East Side Marios for a lovely meal and then back home for dessert. It was still a great evening but somehow I just kept picturing you, Trish and Paolo prowling around the backyard!

Well, I certainly wasn’t in your backyard during the festive event. Don’t remember an invitation coming my way. Maybe you were worried I would provide your mother & father with all the details of your sordid life!
About the propane tank. Scrap metal is at an all-time high when it comes to cost. Not that I would do it but a propane tank is pretty heavy; must be worth 5 or 6 dollars. That would let some people play a couple of Pro Line tickets. I’m not mentioning any names but I do know that both Trish & Paulo are always walking around with Pro Line sheets hanging out of their back pockets!
