A New Tattoo: The Aquilina Family Crest
The Hamilton chapter of the Maltese Canadian Association has a link on their web site where you can look up the family crest & history of common Maltese names. I knew Aquilina had something to do with an eagle and when I checked, lo and behold, there it was! Decided it was time for my next tattoo.
Went to see Anita at Aardvark Tattoo. She has become my regular tattoo lady. Very nice person; from Chile, long dark hair & amenable to the "good stuff". Anita took a look at the picture I brought and said it would be no problem. We set a date, I showed up and 45 minutes later-there it was!
Check out the picture.

Hey! I left a comment about your tattoo and it got posted somewhere else!
What I said was: It looks more like a turkey vulture and your flag is getting hairy!

I found it! It got posted under “comfortably numb” and I DID apologize for the comment!

The tatoo looks great Tony and unlike Tree I think it looks more like Smaug the dragon from the Hobbit. And by the way Tree theres not much on Tony that isn’t getting a bit hairy.

Now Tree, it’s a good thing my mother didn’t hear you say that! And about the hair on the Maltese flag-that’s the way it’s supposed to be. After all, the Maltese are a hairy lot-even the women!

OK Dickhead, as I’m sure everyone is wondering, just how would you know that?

We best leave that our secret Tony.

Yes, we better not divulge that information. If we did, and my mother were at her best fighting weight, there would be one less Dickhead in the world!

One less Dickhead in the world would make it a better one! And Tony, don’t you remember him always peeking in your shower?!?

Ouch, that brings back such a vivid memories. I do remember how we used to wonder whether or not it was a passing phase for him. I guess not!
