February 15: My First “Sunning” Day of 2009

Most of you know that one of my favorite activities during those warm sunny summer days is to find a nice spot to sit outside, tilt back in my wheelchair and let the sun shine on my face.  Great way to work on the tan!  Well, I set a record this year.  It was so nice outside today, I put on a light jacket, found a spot protected from the wind and let Mr. Sun shine down on me.  It was marvelous!  Was there for about one hour.  I’ve got to build up that base!

  1. Great to hear you were up to going outside and enjoying the weather Tony. Just please tell me you kept all your close on!

  2. I think dickhead meant “clothes”, not “close” and if so, I gotta say that I hope so too!!!

  3. Dickhead, first of all-of course I kept my clothes on. As usual, if anyone wants to see me naked they have to pay first. Between you & “The Ex” I feel like I’m dealing with some of the famous teams of the past. Bonnie & Clyde, Mutt & Jeff, Tom & Jerry, Rowan & Martin, Frick & Frack, Lewis & Martin-the list goes on (but not on as long as the two of you)!

  4. You know Tree one of my better talents is spelling. So you can see how upsetting the thought of Tony naked was. Couldn’t even spell clothes.

  5. As far as I know, dickhead, spelling was your only talent and you never could get that right either!
    Signed Frack.
PS - sorry to high-jack your thread again, Ex.

  6. Don’t worry about the hijack Tree; seeing you lambaste the Dickhead more than makes up for it!

  7. Its not in my humble nature to boast but I remember thrashing you at just about every card game we played Tree. And our relative cooking skills well don’t even get me started. My modesty keeps me from going on and on.

  8. I’m certainly glad I own the television broadcast rights to this heavyweight tilt. It has the potential to outdraw “Hulk Hogan Versus André the Giant” & “Ali Versus Foreman” combined. Or should I consider it to be a lost tribe of Israel versus a tribe of Israel?

  9. People use Tony’s stomach for a shelf (got that one from cousin Jan) and he calls us heavyweights.

  10. As much as I hate to agree with the dickhead, I do like his last comment!
And yeah, he might have got lucky at a game or two of cards but what’s that got to do with spelling???? I TROUNCED him EVERY time at SCRABBLE!
Oh - sorry- I let him win 1 time when I was ill.
I think you are a witness to this, Tony.

  11. Dickhead, people like to stand you up and use you as their golf tee. And, regarding being a witness to anything, in the words of Sergeant Schultz: I know nothing (except what I want to know & admit)!

  12. As often happens when Tree makes comments that reach far back into her memory I have absolutely no idea what the woman is talking about. Scrabble?? Never happened.
