A Quick Fishing Trip With Brother Mike & the Lovely Trish

It was a spur of the moment decision but I headed out fishing with Brother Mike and the lovely Trish.  Once again, it was out to the Binbrook Conservation Area.  A little cool but more than bearable.  The first hour or so saw both of them pull in several little ones: sunfish, perch & a baby bass.  Then, Trish hit the mother lode!  She pulled in a lovely smallmouth bass that had to be around 3 pounds!  Talk about a proud fisherwoman.  Certainly showed the boys up!

  2. Bring it over Saturday Trish and that’ll be supper. Looks big enough for 6 don’t you think? Hey how come everyone is wearing blue, is that the official colour of fishing this year?

  3. Alas, there will be no fish fry! First, bass season is not open yet. Second, Binbrook Conservation Area has a catch & release policy for all game fish. Believe me though, it was very tempting to sneak that puppy out. And about the picture: I didn’t have my camera with me. They were taken on Trish’s cell phone!

  4. Oh well, at least she didn’t have to clean it!
BTW - did you have to replace her phone?
