Looking for a Pontoon Boat
Yes, that’s right. As you can tell from the number of fishing posts I have put up on my blog, really starting to get into fishing again. As a matter of fact, just received my Vans EZ Cast, a contraption that attaches to my wheelchair and helps me cast my fishing line. Now, I need a boat to fish from!
I have been doing a lot of googling and it seems a pontoon boat is the way to go. Should be able to allow wheelchair access without very much modification. So, please keep your eyes open for me. Preferably, something 20 foot or less in length. Used would be nice. If you see anything, please let me know!

I will put some feelers out for you!

Thanks Dickhead, that would be nice. Just to let you know though, I’ve got my eyes on one that’s for sale by someone in Chatham. Let’s see what happens!

Where the heck are you going to store the thing??!!
You’ll also need a boat trailer/trailer plate/license/insurance etc.
Not to mention the upkeep/gas/oil/repairs/docking fees etc.
Are you really sure you want to do this??!!

Well isn’t someone the adult. When did you grow up Tree? Dashing a man’s hope and dreams with a shot of reality. Not that I don’t agree with you but the boy has to make his own mistakes and one day hopefully achieve the maturity that you and I exhibit.

Tree & Dickhead; oh ye of little faith! Storage: I have already spoken with the people who are renting our former mutual House of Love- no problem! Insurance: a mere $250 for the entire year. Comes with a trailer. And all those other expenses you mentioned, including upkeep, not nearly as expensive as keeping a wife!

Just remember the rule of the sea, Captain Kangaroo: the Captain goes down with the pontoon! Better hope if the ship is sinking Tree and I are close by to throw you a line.

Have no fear Dickhead, I mastered the breaststroke many years ago. And you have nothing to worry about. I remember hearing that there is something that always floats in the toilet!
